10 Best CRM Consulting Companies in 2026

SingleStone

Updated October 2026

The best CRM consulting companies in 2026 for mid-market and enterprise buyers are SingleStone Consulting, Velosio, Stoneridge Software, Coastal, Plative, Aptitude 8, SmartBug Media, Sikich, AlphaBOLD and Perficient. Your platform narrows the list fast. Dynamics 365 shops should start with Velosio, Stoneridge or AlphaBOLD. Salesforce buyers should talk to Coastal or Plative. HubSpot teams should look at Aptitude 8 and SmartBug. If you run more than one CRM, or you work in insurance, energy, financial services or government, SingleStone and Sikich both work across Salesforce and Dynamics 365.

Disclosure: SingleStone publishes this list and ranks itself first. Every other profile is based on what each firm says on its own website, and we link to those pages so you can check the details yourself.

What CRM consulting covers

CRM consultants help a company choose, configure and get value from a customer relationship management platform such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or HubSpot. The work usually falls into three buckets:

  • Strategy: defining requirements, processes and the metrics the CRM should report on.
  • Implementation: configuration, customization, data migration, integrations and rollout.
  • Optimization: reviewing how an existing CRM is used and fixing adoption, process and reporting gaps.

If you want to see how SingleStone scopes this work, our CRM consulting services page walks through the approach.

How we chose these firms

We looked for firms a mid-market or enterprise buyer could realistically hire for a CRM project in 2026. Each firm had to meet four tests:

  • A clear focus on at least one major CRM platform (Salesforce, Dynamics 365 or HubSpot), with that focus stated on its own site.
  • Public evidence of partner status or vendor recognition on the firm's site.
  • Implementation and integration services, not only licensing or marketing.
  • A size that suits mid-market projects. We left out the largest global integrators except Perficient, which we kept as one option for big multi-platform programs.

We did not accept payment for placement. Headquarters, founding dates and partner details come from each firm's website as of October 2026. Where a firm's site does not list a fact, the table says "Not listed."

1. SingleStone Consulting: Best for regulated industries and multi-platform CRM

SingleStone is a Richmond, Virginia consulting firm founded in 1997. It specializes in Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics and works across both, which helps when a client is choosing between them or running the two side by side.

SingleStone covers CRM strategy, implementation, adoption, analytics and ongoing optimization. Engagements start with discovery: business objectives, the customer journey, and how sales, marketing and service teams work today. The CRM design comes out of that discovery.

Pricing

Focused CRM projects typically start at $25,000 and scale with scope and complexity. SingleStone also offers managed services contracts for post-implementation support.

2. Velosio: Best for Dynamics 365 in distribution, manufacturing and professional services

Velosio is a Microsoft partner with corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, and a team of 450 business professionals, application consultants and industry experts. The firm says it brings more than 30 years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem. On the CRM side it works with Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights and Field Service, and it lists CRM implementation as a core capability.

Velosio focuses on a short list of industries: professional services, distribution, manufacturing and agribusiness. Its site shows a Microsoft Inner Circle badge and lists a 2023 Dynamics 365 Business Central US Partner of the Year award. Velosio also describes itself as the only Indirect CSP specializing in Dynamics 365, which matters if you want licensing and services from the same firm.

Pick Velosio if you want CRM and ERP on Microsoft from a partner that knows your industry.

3. Stoneridge Software: Best for midsize companies standardizing on the Microsoft stack

Stoneridge Software was established in 2012 by Eric Newell, Cody Marshall and Becky Newell. It has offices in Barnesville and Minneapolis, Minnesota; Fargo, North Dakota; and Winnipeg, Manitoba. In its ten-year announcement the firm said it had grown to more than 300 team members.

Stoneridge works only on Microsoft: the Dynamics 365 suite, Power Platform and related Microsoft tools. CRM offerings include Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights (Journeys) and Field Service. The firm describes itself as a Microsoft Inner Circle partner and was named 2022 Microsoft US Partner of the Year for Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Its industry focus is manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, construction and professional services, with nonprofit and food and beverage pages on the site as well. Stoneridge is a good fit for midsize companies that want CRM, ERP and Power Platform handled by one Microsoft-only team.

4. Coastal: Best for multi-cloud Salesforce programs

Coastal (Coastal Cloud) is a Salesforce consultancy that has been a top-tier Salesforce partner since 2012. Its site lists work across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce, plus MuleSoft, Tableau, Slack and Snowflake.

Coastal says it has been named a Leader in ISG's Salesforce Provider Lens research for several years running and that it has thousands of customers. It serves a broad set of industries, including public sector, financial services, healthcare, nonprofit, education, manufacturing and private equity. Coastal is now backed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), so buyers get a specialist delivery team with a large parent behind it.

Choose Coastal when your Salesforce program spans several clouds, or when data and integration work (Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Snowflake) is as important as the CRM configuration.

5. Plative: Best for Salesforce paired with NetSuite

Plative is a New York-based consultancy that holds Salesforce Summit Partner status and Salesforce.org Premium Partner status. It also describes itself as a top-five Oracle NetSuite alliance partner in North America.

That combination is the reason to call Plative. Many mid-market companies run Salesforce for sales and service and NetSuite for finance, and the handoff between the two (quotes, orders, invoices, customer records) is where projects go sideways. Plative implements both and lists data orchestration among its services.

The firm lists financial services, manufacturing, nonprofit, education, business services, energy and utilities, construction and real estate, and technology, media and telecommunications as its industries. If your CRM project is really a quote-to-cash project, Plative belongs on the shortlist.

6. Aptitude 8: Best for complex HubSpot implementations and migrations

Aptitude 8 is an Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner that describes itself as an enterprise HubSpot partner designing CRM, integration and revenue systems across marketing, sales and service. Its founder and CEO is Connor Jeffers. In October 2024 it announced a merger with HubSpot partner OBO, with the combined firm operating under the Aptitude 8 brand.

The firm is HubSpot-accredited in CRM Implementation, Custom Integrations and Advanced CMS. Its services include full HubSpot implementations, migrations to HubSpot (including from Salesforce), ERP integrations, custom development such as private apps and coded workflows, and ongoing RevOps support. HubSpot ranked Aptitude 8 second in its 2024 Global Partner of the Year list, and the firm cites more than 250 five-star reviews.

Aptitude 8 works with mid-market and enterprise companies. Hire it when your HubSpot project needs real technical work: integrations, custom objects or a migration off another CRM.

7. SmartBug Media: Best for marketing-led HubSpot CRM

SmartBug Media was founded in 2007 by Ryan Malone. It runs as a remote-first agency with nearly 300 specialists spread from Montreal to Mexico City. SmartBug is a HubSpot Elite Solutions Partner and was named HubSpot's 2024 North American Partner of the Year.

SmartBug started in inbound marketing, and that shows in how it approaches CRM. Its HubSpot work covers onboarding, admin, integrations and migrations, and revenue operations, usually tied to demand generation and content programs. That makes it a strong choice when marketing owns the CRM decision or when the goal is cleaner lead flow from marketing to sales.

SmartBug does not list Salesforce implementation as a service. If you need deep custom development or a multi-platform setup, pair it with a technical partner or look at Aptitude 8.

8. Sikich: Best for CRM, ERP and advisory from one firm

Sikich was founded in 1982 and describes itself as a technology-enabled professional services firm spanning consulting, technology and compliance. Its affiliate Sikich CPA LLC is a licensed CPA firm, and it lists 18 locations across the US and India. On CRM, Sikich implements both Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, and says it has more than 15 years of Salesforce experience.

Its HEADSTART CRM program is a remote, quick-start package for getting a CRM running fast. Sikich says it typically cuts about a third of the time off a standard implementation. The firm also offers ERP, data and AI, cloud and managed IT services, and it has published a case study on a Dynamics 365 constituent relationship platform for the City of Austin's Economic Development Department.

Sikich makes sense when you want CRM, ERP and finance or accounting advice from one firm, or when you are a public-sector or nonprofit buyer looking at Dynamics 365.

9. AlphaBOLD: Best for Dynamics 365 in manufacturing and AEC

AlphaBOLD was founded in 2017 in San Diego, California, and lists its US office in Carlsbad, California, with additional offices in London and Lahore, Pakistan. It is a Microsoft Solutions Partner and a NetSuite Solution Provider, and its site also lists Salesforce among its solutions.

For CRM, AlphaBOLD works across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Field Service and Project Operations, and offers CRM consulting alongside ERP and data work. Its listed industries are manufacturing, financial services, architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), food and beverage, and healthcare and life sciences.

AlphaBOLD is a younger, smaller firm than most on this list. That can be an advantage for mid-market buyers who want senior attention on a Dynamics 365 project, especially in manufacturing or AEC where Project Operations and Field Service come into play.

10. Perficient: Best for large, multi-platform CRM programs

Perficient is the one large integrator on this list. It says it has completed more than 3,000 Salesforce deployments over 20+ years, and it won a 2025 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award. On the Microsoft side, Perficient is a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner and a member of the Inner Circle for AI Business Solutions.

The firm partners with many technology and experience platforms beyond CRM and has thousands of colleagues worldwide. That scale is useful when a CRM rollout is one piece of a larger digital program, or when you need many specialists at once across several countries.

Mid-market buyers may get less senior attention than they would from a specialist, so Perficient fits best when the program is big enough to need its bench.

How to pick the right CRM consulting firm

Start with your platform, then test each firm on the areas where CRM projects usually go wrong.

Industry experience

Ask for case studies in your industry and a reference call with one of those clients. A firm that has built a CRM for a state agency, an insurer or a utility already knows the compliance and data questions you will face.

Platform depth

Confirm partner status in the vendor's own directory and ask how many certified consultants would staff your project. If you are still choosing a platform, a firm that works in more than one can compare options for your use case. SingleStone's list of Microsoft Dynamics 365 partners covers Dynamics specialists in more depth.

Data, pricing and support

Data migration is where many CRM timelines slip, so ask how the firm handles duplicates and which systems it has integrated with your target CRM. Get a fixed bid on a defined scope where you can, and ask what training and post-launch support cost.

CRM consulting FAQ

What does a CRM consulting company do?

A CRM consulting company helps you pick, set up and improve a CRM platform such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or HubSpot. The work usually covers requirements and process design, configuration, data migration, integrations with other systems, user training and support after go-live.

How much does CRM consulting cost?

It depends on scope, platform and how much data and integration work is involved. Most firms on this list do not publish rates. SingleStone's focused CRM projects typically start at $25,000, and larger programs scale from there. Ask every firm for a fixed bid on a defined scope so you can compare like for like.

What is the difference between a CRM implementation consultant and a CRM consulting agency?

A CRM implementation consultant is usually an individual or small team brought in to configure and launch a system. A CRM consulting agency or firm offers the full lifecycle: strategy, implementation, integration, adoption and ongoing managed support, with more people to cover developers, architects and trainers.

Should I hire a platform specialist or a multi-platform firm?

If you are certain about your platform, a specialist brings deep product knowledge. If you run more than one CRM, are weighing Salesforce against Dynamics 365, or need the CRM tied into contact center, content or data systems, a multi-platform firm can give you a recommendation that is not tied to one vendor.

How long does a CRM implementation take?

A small, focused rollout can take weeks. A multi-department implementation with data migration and several integrations often runs for months. Ask each firm for a phased plan with a first release date, and make sure data migration and user training are in the timeline rather than added at the end.
